What the free grade shows, and what the plan adds

A free account gets one grade a day. Every grade is for one target job, so the same resume can score differently for two roles.

Free Account, no card

  • Your score out of 100 for the job you name.
  • The 3 biggest problems, each quoting the line it's about.
  • One grade a day.

The Interview-Ready plan Adds

  • The fix for each line it flags, before and after.
  • Your score on each of the five criteria, with the reason.
  • A full rewrite built only from what you wrote.
  • The 3 to 5 questions an interviewer is likely to ask about it, each with a link to practice it.

How the resume review works

An AI model reads your resume the way a hiring manager would for the role you name, then grades it on five fixed criteria. The score out of 100 is worked out from those five, with the same weights every time.

How the grade works: add your resume, name the job, read the grade 1 Add your resume A PDF, or paste the text 2 Name the job The role you're going for 3 Read the grade Score and the lines to fix
Add the resume once. You can grade it again for another job, or after you change it.

The five things the grade checks

Results and relevance count most, because they decide whether a reader keeps going.

What the resume grade weighs: Results with numbers 25%, Relevance to the target role 25%, Clarity 15%, Structure and ATS readability 15%, Interview readiness 20% SHARE OF THE SCORE OUT OF 100 Results with numbers 25% Relevance to the target role 25% Clarity 15% Structure and ATS readability 15% Interview readiness 20%
The weights come from the grade itself. They don't change by job.
  1. 25% OF THE SCORE

    Results with numbers

Each line says what changed because of your work, with a number where you have one.

  2. 25% OF THE SCORE

    Relevance to the target role

The jobs, results and skills at the top are the ones this role asks for.

  3. 15% OF THE SCORE

    Clarity

Plain words, one idea per line, and no filler a reader has to get through.

  4. 15% OF THE SCORE

    Structure and ATS readability

Every job has a title, an employer and dates, and the skills are plain keywords a hiring system can read.

  5. 20% OF THE SCORE

    Interview readiness

Every claim is one you can back with a story when an interviewer asks about it.

The scoreFree

58 / 100

The 3 biggest problemsFree

1. Results with numbersResponsible for handling customer tickets and escalations. It says what the job was, not what changed because of you. There is no number in it.
2. Interview readinessHelped with the rollout of a new help desk system.“Helped with” hides your part. An interviewer will ask what you did, and the line gives you nothing to start from.
3. ClarityTeam player with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.Four claims anyone could make, with no proof behind any of them.

The fix for a flagged lineInterview-Ready plan

BeforeResponsible for handling customer tickets and escalations.

AfterHandled [number] customer tickets a week and took the team's escalations, closing [number] a month.

The resume had no ticket counts, so the rewrite leaves [number] for you to fill in.

What an interviewer is likely to askInterview-Ready plan

  1. “You helped roll out a new help desk system. What part was yours, and what changed after it went live?”
  2. “Walk me through an escalation you took over. What did you do first?”
  3. “How would you run the queue if you managed the people answering it?”

Nothing in the rewrite is made up

A rewrite that adds a result you can't explain hurts you in the interview. So the grade is held to what you wrote.

  1. 1

    Quotes are your lines

Every problem quotes a line copied from your resume, word for word.

  2. 2

    Your facts stay yours

Job titles, employers and dates in the rewrite are copied from your resume. Skills you never listed are dropped.

  3. 3

    No invented numbers

A number your resume doesn't contain becomes [number], for you to fill in with the real one.

Then practice the questions your resume gets

Interviewers read a line from your resume and ask what happened there. With your resume added, the practice interviewer asks about your real jobs, out loud, and scores five skills. Your first two scored mocks are free, with no card.

Questions about the resume grader

Is the resume grader free?

Yes, with a free account: the score out of 100 and the 3 biggest problems, one grade a day. The fixes, the five sub-scores, the rewrite and the likely questions come with the Interview-Ready plan.

Can it rate my resume for a specific job?

Yes. Type the job you're going for before you grade. Relevance to that role is a quarter of the score, so name the real target.

Is it an ATS checker?

No. It checks that each job has a title, an employer and dates, and that your skills are plain keywords a hiring system can read. It doesn't run your file through any employer's system.

What happens to my resume?

A summary of your work history is kept, never the file and never your contact details. You can remove it any time, and it's deleted after 12 months without use.

Will it write a new resume for me?

The Interview-Ready plan includes a full rewrite built only from what you wrote. Where a number is missing, it leaves [number] for you to fill in.
