Nobody tells you which answers fell apart. This AI interview coach does.

Employers send a form rejection. Friends say it was good. Neither one tells you that your second answer had no outcome in it, or that you talked for four minutes when ninety seconds was the job.

Five bars of unequal, unordered height stand inside a shared outlined ceiling; one is solid blue. Below them a measured rule is cut short by a single heavy blue stop mark.

Start with a coached mock

Name the job or paste the posting. The interviewer asks and follows up out loud for about fifteen minutes, harder than a real panel would. The coaching is on the scorecard: what each answer scored, why, and what to say instead.

This is an AI, not a person. It needs your microphone; there is no camera. About 15 minutes for a mock, about 3 for a drill. Your voice is transcribed and scored by AI services and the transcript is kept 90 days. Privacy.

Graded by an AI from the transcript. Practicing here does not change any employer's decision. NailedIt.ai is not affiliated with any employer or vendor named on this page.

What coaching means on this site, exactly

  • The follow-up. An answer with no outcome gets asked for the outcome. An answer with no "I" in it gets asked what you personally did. A good answer gets pressed anyway, for the number or the moment behind it, because the bar here is set above a real interview on purpose. That is the part a list of questions cannot do and a friend is too polite to do.
  • Two rewrites, on the monthly plan. The scorecard takes your two weakest answers and rewrites each, built from what you said and structured so the result lands, with the reasons the new version scores higher.
  • The drill. The scorecard names the one label you scored lowest and hands you a three-minute drill on it: one question, one follow-up, a short note. The first two are free.
  • The delta. Run the same role again and the second scorecard shows attempt one against attempt two, label by label, before anything else. Whether the coaching worked is a number on the page, not a feeling.

The five labels the coaching is measured on

A coach who grades differently each session cannot tell you whether you improved. These five are fixed, so the delta means something.

  • Answer Structure. Interviewers listen for Situation, Task, Action, Result. An answer with no concrete outcome reads as an unproven claim. The Result is what separates a story from an assertion.
  • Judgment & Problem-Solving. How you reason through a problem: what you check first, when you escalate or ask for help, and why. Sound reasoning under uncertainty is what a scenario question is actually testing.
  • Specificity & Evidence. Concrete details prove the experience is real: the project, the numbers, what YOU personally did. Generic "I would" answers score low because anyone can say them.
  • Role Relevance. Whether your answers speak to this job, not a job in general. Interviewers are listening for someone who understood what the role actually involves.
  • Communication & Presence. Clarity, pacing, and composure. Rambling, trailing off, or losing the thread costs you even when the content underneath is right.

Every answer also gets a transcript-measured delivery line: seconds spoken, words per minute, filler count. That part is arithmetic on the transcript, not a model's opinion, and the scorecard labels it that way.

What it flags, and will not let past

Alongside the five scores, the report looks for the things that sink an answer in any room. For a general role these are:

  • Badmouthing a former employer, manager or coworker.
  • Blaming others for an outcome she was part of.
  • An answer with no outcome at all.
  • Claiming a result she did not personally cause.
  • Disclosing something she should not have — confidential data, private details, another person's information.

For nursing and other clinical roles the list changes to the clinical hazards, because a coach that flags the wrong things for your field is coaching somebody else.

What an AI coach is not

  • Not a person. The interviewer is software with a drawn face and a synthesized voice, labeled AI on every screen. The scorer is a model reading a transcript. Nothing here has met a hiring manager.
  • Not a promise. Coaching changes what you say. It does not change who is hired, and no page on this site says otherwise.
  • Not for the interview itself. It runs before, never during. Employers that publish a candidate AI policy draw the same line, and this site agrees with them.
  • A monthly plan. $19 a month for unlimited scored mocks, cancel from your account page, and a 14-day refund from a button.

What is free and what is paid

  • Free: Two scored mock interviews, each with your overall score, all five skill scores and the full transcript. No card. When your first scorecard is ready we ask for an email, so you can find it again. Plus two three-minute drills.
  • Monthly plan, $19 a month: As many scored mocks as you want, every month. Plus the coaching: why you lost points on each skill, your weakest answers rewritten with the reasons the new version scores higher, and drills for what you missed.
  • Renews at $19 a month until you cancel. Cancel from your account page. The next month is not charged. Refunds: 14 days from your first payment, no reason required, one button on your account.

Run it

Another week of searching costs you a week of pay, and the interview is the part of it you control. Name the job, allow the microphone, and the first question comes in under a minute. No account needed to start.

Start a free mock

It is here at 11pm the night before, with nothing to book and nobody to pay. A role title works, or paste the whole job posting and the interviewer reads the details from it.

This is an AI, not a person. It needs your microphone; there is no camera. About 15 minutes for a mock, about 3 for a drill. Your voice is transcribed and scored by AI services and the transcript is kept 90 days. Privacy.

Sent a one-way recorded interview instead (HireVue, Spark Hire, Willo)? Rehearse the timer. A question, a prep clock, one take, scored on delivery. Runs without a scorecard cost nothing.

What we could not verify
  • Whether the rewrites match how you talk. They are built from your transcript, so they use your words, but a model can still pick a phrasing you would not. Read them out loud before you keep them.
  • How a human coach would score you. The five labels are ours, chosen because they can be scored the same way twice; a person might weigh presence or fit differently. The delivery numbers are arithmetic and carry no opinion at all.
  • What your interviewer will ask. The coach builds its questions from the role or posting you give it and has no access to any employer's interview.
